Ugh, NOT ANOTHER ONE. Australia, I can’t take anymore rain
A ton has happened since I’ve posted last but I can’t say I’ve been busy. The weather has been absolutely awful. I’ve talked to a few Australian’s and they said it hasn’t been this rainy in forever! I’d say were on day 6 of straight rain 😦
But last weekend I made it Moreton Island. It’s the third largest sand island in the world! I went camping (and I mean full on roughing it), I snorkeled around a few ship wrecks and saw some awesome fish and two sharks! Sharks, I know! I climbed Mount Tempest and saw Cape Moreton. It was all unbelievable!
Yesterday I bought my ticket to go sky diving in Byron Bay! I can’t believe I’m finally going to do it.
This awful weather is making it a little bit harder to be away from home just because it’s so hard to keep busy when you don’t want to leave the apartment.
But until later, pray for me when I jump out of the plane in two weeks!

For Lauren’sCleo cover, she wears a green top and a beautiful white ruffle skirt.
Things have been slow here at Bond. With the bad weather I have not been traveling. Classes have really begun to pick up as midterms are in two weeks. I can’t believe how fast time is flying.
Last weekend my roommate and I went down to Surfers Paradise for the first time. It was such great shopping and the beach was amazing!
However, something I’ve learned quickly is… it is legal to tan nude here. Talk about awkward! I rolled over onto my stomach to find a 300lb woman lying topless next to me… Most shocking thing I’ve seen all week!
This past weekend was Australia Day but unfortunately it was rained out her on the Gold Coast. A serious storm has been coming through for the past three days and it has not stopped raining and winds are beginning to pick up. Friday I ventured to the Australia Zoo, home to Steve Irwin. It was a great experience to be able to pet kangaroos and hold a koala!
It looks like a rainy week ahead so that’s it for now!
